Why the name? Blackbird has been my nickname since junior high after The Beatle’s song, Blackbird. The number 72 is my birth year. The lyrics to this song has and will always hit my inner being with a mixture of emotions. The words sing true to me and what has happened in my life.
My Blackbird72 is about my art and creating wearable items using my original photography. I create glass pendants, rings and earrings using hypoallergenic materials. I want others to wear these pieces as art and to look upon them as a reflection of the gorgeous world that we live in.
Blackbird’s Closet is a relatively new business. As a small business, I provide other small business with what they need to be self sufficient and to thrive. I want to expand on this venture as a side business and something very different from what I do.
